Institutional Analysis: What a great subject!

Hello, today I'm going to talk about my favourite subject. I'm taking five subjects this term, but without a doubt my favourite subject is Institutional Analysis. It's an optative subject from the educational line in psychology, but I think that's a transverse matter in psychology. The teacher who lectures the subject is called Horacio Foladori. He's an argentinian psychoanalyst and I think that He's a wonderful teacher.
The reason why I like best this subject is by the topics that we study and the very interesting method of Institutional Analysis. This method proposes two principal rules. The former is that institutions are necessary for the human society and the latter is that always exists a conflict between "the instituted" and "The instituting thing", because this clash creates new institutions, destroys it, and makes that society evolves. I think that any people that wants for work in places with groups, own laws and wants to help societies, they must know a lot things that institutional analysis do. That's all, and I hope that one day you read something about this subject, Bye.

First: Not in Chile

The future is uncertainly and the mine too. I really have a lot of ideas for the future. There's some topic that I'll like to work and develop, but the most important to me in this moment is where. I'm so interested in community education and there's a special country that have an important develop in the topic: Cuba. By the same, in five years I hope to be in Cuba, in the University of La Habana learning about their particular methods. Probably, at the same time, I'm going to be working in themes about education and poverty, themes related with the communities development and their self-sufficience.

Moreover In five years probably I'll make my own family (I think that 27 years old it's a apropiate age for that) or at least have a child. To me is so important to know so much about the educational problems in latin america and I guess to know along the next five years had known differents perspectives in differnet countries in latin america.

Finally I really hope to be doing what I want, working for the people of our continent, our language and our reality, absolutely different of US ,Europe or Asia, here in the "continent in ways of development".

Sigmund Freud: The psychological thinking of the S. XX

Wow, It's so difficult to say who's the best in my area. Maybe because my area is so big. But if we ask for people, the most known in my area could be Sigmund Freud. He was born in Frieberg, Austria in 1856. Originally Freud was a doctor and studied with psyquiatrist as Charcot and Breuer, and learned about topics like hysteria or psychosis and their catartic methods. Nevertheless Freud didn't follow the old methods, and developed a new method for curying Neurosis and Hysteria, the "speaking method". From the researches about his pacients, Freud could develop all a new theory about the human mind (a new theory about the estructure and working ways of the mind).

The Freud theories about human mind has been criticized for a lot of people (philosophers, scientists, psychologysts, etc.) and in spite of the critiques, the Freud's thinking still have a great influence in the society study, not just from psychology, but sociology, anthropology and philosophy too. I think that's the most important thing about Freud because his thinking keeps being studied y considered when social scientist thinks about society.
